Annual Talent Search
The Toronto Blues Society is pleased to announce the six finalists in the 2007 Talent Search.
Congratulations to Carrey Worrod, Douglas Watson R&B Revue, Smoke Wagon Blues Band, Son Roberts Band, Tracy K, and Up the Line for being selected as finalists in the TBS 2007 Talent Search.
The finalists will perform at the TD Canada Trust Toronto Jazz Festival on Thursday June 28 from 3-6PM and the winner, chosen by a panel of industry judges, will win a professional development prize package including a CBC recording, photo shoot, studio time, and a performance at the South Side Shuffle.
The winning act will perform another special showcase at the Celebrate Toronto Street Festival on July 9th, and will also win performance opportunities at the South Side Shuffle on September 10th and the Toronto Blues Society Blues Summit in January 2007. In addition, the winners receive a professional development package including a live CBC recording, studio time at Bass-Line Studios, and a photo shoot with Rick Zolkower.
