The Toronto Blues Society invites Canadian blues acts who have not made a nationally distributed or major label recording to enter our sixth annual New Talent Search.

A screening panel will choose six acts, each of whom will perform one live set in our finals, to be staged in two Toronto blues clubs in June. The winning act will receive a showcase engagement during the Great Canadian Blues Festival, July 7-9, at Harbourfront Centre, Toronto to be recorded for national broadcast on CBC Radio's Saturday Night Blues and a cash prize.

To Enter: Send a cassette or CD with three songs selected (material must have been recorded during the past two years - original material is encouraged). Make sure the recording is clearly labelled, and include a bio, photo, and contact information, including mailing address and telephone number. Entry fee is $10. All entries become the property of the Toronto Blues Society and will not be returned.

Finalists must be available to perform in Toronto on May 31 or June 1, 2001
