The TBS' biggest event of the year, the Women's Blues Revue will feature Sue Foley, Rita Chiarelli (above), Saidah Baba Talibah, Ellen McIlwaine (left), Diana Braithwaite, and more. The Women's Blues Revue Band led by Lily Sazz and the amazing WBR Band will take place at Massey Hall on Saturday, November 25. CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

Voting members of the Toronto Blues Society are eligible to run for the 2007 Toronto Blues Society Board of Directors.

In order to run, you must be a member in good standing, and you must be nominated in writing by three voting members of the society. Deadline to receive nominations is 5pm November 17. The slate of candidates will be announced in the December issue of MapleBlues.

Elections will take place at the Annual General Meeting December 5, 2006 at the TBS office.

Blues Summit III will feature two nights of showcases, a keynote brunch, and numerous panels and receptions. For three days in January, Toronto will be "Blues Central". If you have suggestions for panel topics, panelists or would like to sponsor a reception or showcase, or participate in any way, please contact the office.
