Combining a fresh approach to Blues music with an invigorating and entertaining stage presence, The Undesirables impressed the judges with their commitment and talent. Guitarist/harmonist Sean Cotton and lyricist/singer Corin Raymond brought a unique vibe with roots blues clout. Fixtures of the Toronto music scene, both independently and as a duo, The Undesirables are worthy winners of this year's title. The Undesirables will perform another special showcase at the Celebrate Toronto Street Festival on July 9th, and have also won performance opportunities at the South Side Shuffle on September 10th and the Toronto Blues Society Blues Summit in January 2007. In addition, they were awarded a professional development package including a live CBC recording, studio time at Bass-Line Studios, and a photo shoot with Rick Zolkower.
