| Perennial favourite Duke Robillard plays the Silver Dollar Room on March 18. Please note the new start time at the Dollar - 9pm. | Phil Guy (yes, Buddy's brother) is a fine guitar slinger in his own right. He'll be touring Ontario backed by the Gary Kendall Band (Darren Poole, Tyler Burgess, Gary Kendall and Shakey Dagenais) with a Toronto date at the Silver Dollar on March 25 (9pm start) | Del Rey & Steve James play "jaw-dropping roots music blues and old-tyme country guitar and vocals, and good jokes." Although known as blues players, they cheerfully tackle everything from old hillbilly music to deep country blues and witty original material. Rey first visited Toronto last year as a featured member of Maria Muldaur's band, but this is the Canadian debut of the pair as a duo. They play Hugh's Room Tuesday, March 7, 8:30 p.m. |
