Address: 750 Spadina Avenue, at Bloor (Spadina Station). Admission: free. What: Information Session on Government Funding Grants for Musicians. A collective of non-profit music organizations invites you to attend an interactive information session to learn about government funding for artists. The focus of the session will be specialized music in the popular music field such as folk, jazz, blues and world music. The session is open to all and will allow for questions from the audience. In attendance will be representatives from Toronto Arts Council (Brenda House), Ontario Arts Council (Glenn Hodgins), Canada Council for the Arts (Richard Davis) and FACTOR (Karyn King, Stephanie Malek). The session will be moderated by Dan Kershaw (SOCAN) and Derek Andrews (Global Cafe).
