Due to poor ticket sales,
the Cisco Systems Toronto Bluesfest has been cancelled

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

TORONTO, ON: Wednesday, July 14, 2004 - The Cisco Systems Toronto Bluesfest has been cancelled due to poor ticket sales. The festival, featuring headliners such as Lyle Lovett, Chris Isaak and Wyclef, was set to begin this weekend at Exhibition Place. The organizers, faced with huge potential losses, made the very hard decision to pull the festival. “My heart goes out to all the bands, sponsors, volunteers, staff and fans who supported last year’s event and were on board for this year,” says executive director Mark Monahan. Ticket holders will receive full refunds at point of purchase.
