Members' Update
Incoming! The TBS Board of Directors will have three new faces as of the term beginning this January. We welcome long time volunteer
Diane Creighton, producer and musician Alec
Fraser, and the return of former board member and host of CIUT's Let the Good Times Roll,
Ian Angus.
Gratitude galore is expressed in the direction of retiring board members Valerie Chamberlin, Larry McCarthy and Richard Flohil. Val and Larry have concentrated their involvement around volunteer coordination and events, while Flo has been a member of the board executive, programming committee and has been a driving force of the organization for over 10 years.
Richard will fortunately remain involved with the programming committee. The year also brings other changes in the executive as founding vice-president John Valenteyn steps off the exec after over 18 years of dedicated service. John will remain on the board and continue to write his monthly CD reviews. The board and the membership thank all the retiring board members.
The 2004 executive committee will feature the addition of Sherrill Middleton and Ian Angus to work with the current exec of Dr. Julie Hill, Jon Arnold and myself.
