January 25-27 2003The first Blues Summit will feature a photo exhibit and presentation by legendary blues historian and photographer Dick Waterman, Chicago Blues Festival producer Barry Dolins, Stony Plain founder Holger Peterson and others. There will be Professional Development Seminars, Artist Showcases and many opportunities for networking with blues presenters, musicians, agents, promoters, media and other industry members from across Canada and the United States. The Blues Summit coincides with the 6th Annual Maple Blues Awards, Canada's national celebration of homegrown blues talent.
