Hi Derek!
I received your e-mail too late for the trip, but thanks for responding anyway. We hit Chicago's Diner on Wednesday. Jerome Godboo was playing. Odd fellow to watch. Not very bluesy, but a hell of a harp player. And Rod Phillips was sitting in with him on keyboards. Excellent player too. We headed home on Saturday, but you're right, we hit paydirt on Friday. Shemekia Copeland and Susan Tedeschi on the same bill! And we sat in the second row! Found some excellent cajun food at the fest too. We'll look that place up when we return.
