Dear Blues Supporters:

As a long-time user of the local library system, I have been disappointed with the limited selection of Blues cd's available for loan. The classics, as well as local performers, are very poorly represented. Anyhow, I had the idea that I would take Mr. Harris' rebate and donate it to the Richview Library in Etobicoke. However, I ran into problems when I wanted to take the liberty of purchasing the cd's myself and donating them to the library. I was told that they had "experts" who did the buying and that they couldn't accept cd's or books that may be unsuitable. They would accept cash with the request that the money go towards cd's. What appealed to me was another excuse to visit Sam's and pick up what I felt they should have. There was no guarantee the money was going to be spent the way I wanted.

So here's some money. I'm sure you can put it to good use.

Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for the New Year.

Yours truly, Don Orr
